Through personal experience, guidance from various people and self education, I now understand the importance of balance and sustainability and the role it plays in achieving your goals, especially weight loss. Now, I’m not going to lie to you and say its been perfect the entire journey, because it definitely hasn’t.
From shakes, to low-carb and high-protein diets, fat burning pills, calorie counting, skipping meals; you name it, I’ve tried it. The problem with these fads is that they lure you in with the promise of quick results and this is the trap I fell into. I found myself caught in a vicious cycle, giving my all to these restrictive diets and being motivated for 2-3 weeks , then finding myself standing by the freezer with a 2L tub of ice-cream and a spoon. I would then use exercise as punishment for the food I ate, rather than using exercise to celebrate what my body can achieve. This caused an enormous amount of emotional and physical stress on my body, and it’s something majority of Australians battle day to day and think is 'normal'.
Through sustainable nutrition changes, as well as placing a huge emphasis on movement, I turned my life around. This soon became my inspiration to create You4ia Health & Active Living; a platform enabling me to help others achieve not only the same results as I did, but also crush their own personal goals.
Currently, my lifestyle is 100% plant based and thanks to that I am physically the fittest I have ever been, my mental clarity has increased, and overall, my health is at an optimal level.
I believe that balance is the key to longevity and can assert that I have now mastered this formula,
I am ready to share this with the world.
